Chloe Robinson and Alex Frosell are two ascendant names in the world of Electronic dance music. Both take influence from UK bass and, where Frosell looks to techno, Robinson looks to grime and dubstep. ‘Pax’ demonstrates the melding of such influences; a thrumming tom beat upholds a recurrent sample from Youngstar’s 'Pulse X' , while Four Tet’s remix adds an oscillating, pendulum-like bassline and busier drums.
