The Ice Man had 4 Top 100 singles on the US Pop charts in 1969 with one titled "Only The Strong Survive" that peaked at #4 on March 1st and became his first million selling record. In April it peaks at #1 for 2 weeks on the US R&B singles charts. His one and only Top 40 Pop album was "The Ice Man Cometh" that peaked at #29 on the US album charts on May 10th. This album would peak at #2 on the US R&B album charts and would become his biggest selling album of all time. His only other album released in 1969 titled "Ice On Ice" would become his second biggest selling album of all time and it peaked at #41 on the Pop charts and peaked at #4 on the R&B album charts. "Only The Strong Survive" was released on February , 1969.
